Blessed

My family is so blessed to have so many people that are commited and praying for us. I am thankful to have so many friends near and far. Sometimes I forget how many friends that are building with and are commited to me and my family. I guess what I want to say is, "Thank you Jesus for blessing me and my family with faithful friends, your word and the forgiveness of sins."

"Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies."

Thank you!

The Devils Lost Again

“The devil, the originator of sorrowful anxieties and restless troubles, flees before the sound of music almost as much as before the Word of God....Music is a gift and grace of God, not an invention of men. Thus it drives out the devil and makes people cheerful. Then one forgets all wrath, impurity, and other devices.” (Dr. Martin Luther)

Hiking with My Brothers and Sister

Olivia, Daniel, Kawika and I went on a 6 mile hike! We started off at Multnomah Falls (a famous spot for tourists). The hike up to Multnomah falls is about 1.5 miles. Once we got to the top, we continued on another trail that lead to a few other falls. It was so much fun. We got to see some pretty amazing waterfalls and enjoyed being with one another. Below are some pictures of our trip!

Our Destination

And we are off....

First view of the Columbia River

Right before we got to the first fall! Dan took this picture while we (or should I say I) was taking a break ;)

Small waterfall we saw during our adventure

This was the 6th fall we saw on our hike

We were very hot considering it was 92 degrees that day. So we stood next to the fall to get misted!

The most beautiful and amazing waterfall I saw!!!

I think we were about 3/4 of the way done right here

This was a lookout point looking over the Columbia River. We were almost done :)

Group Picture

Last waterfall....6 miles later!

Not only did we get to see the amazing scenery and God's creation, but we just enjoyed being with one antoher. Hope you enjoyed looking through all the pictures.

Praise the Name of Jesus

This song was on my mind this morning and I thought I would share it with you.
(This is the best recording I could find)

Praise the name of Jesus.
Praise the name of Jesus.
He's my Rock.
He's my Fortress.
He's my deliverer, in Him will I trust.
Praise the name of Jesus.

Christ is my only hope.
